Old Heaton House – The Jewellery Quarter

Heaton House dates back to 1860. When the project began it was a derelict building. It was literally just foundations with just a few supported walls. The building has been rebuilt, fully restored and decorated.

A very labour intensive project which required in depth preparation and attention to detail. Tasks included spraying, decorative effects graining, wallcoverings, intumescent coatings to doors, furniture decorations, window decorations, French polishing to the staircase and lots of panelling to the walls that needed prepared and painted. Due to the colour scheme being very dark we had to address both coverage and durability whilst avoiding “framing”

Due to the building being listed the team had to ensure all works carried out were to the expected standard required for approval.

From a derelict, unloved building the property is now a luxurious home that displays high ceilings, ornate cornice, bespoke period windows and many ornamental features to reflect the buildings history.
